Company delivers 30% print savings to Hastings Hotels

Belfast-based IT solutions provider EOS Systems has launched a revolutionary new service which has wiped a massive 30% from the annual printing costs of the Hastings Hotels chain.

The Managed Print Service (MPS) delivered by EOS Systems in partnership with its global printing partner OKI, has also helped the leading hotel group improve its environmental credentials while making huge savings on paper, toner and labour costs.

As part of the MPS service, Hastings Hotels received new environmentally efficient printers free of charge, while the ordering of toner is carried out remotely to ensure no downtime through lack of printing essentials.

Maintenance of the printers is also included in the MPS proposition, as Peter Brown, Technical Director at EOS Systems, explained:  “We are offering an environmentally-friendly, hassle-free solution that guarantees significant savings.

“MPS offers peace of mind through OKI’s remote monitoring system, plus free energy efficient printers that are also environmentally friendly.

“As well as updated technology, other benefits include lower energy bills and a fixed and transparent quarterly charge.”

Previously staff at the six Hastings hotels and its head office had to monitor toner usage to ensure they didn’t run out. Now it is monitored remotely and new toner is delivered automatically by OKI.
