Parker Green International win ‘Best Corporate Social Responsibility Award’ at Newry Business Awards.

Colleen Casey from Bank of Ireland Newry presents Michael Delahunt from Parker Green International with the ‘Best Social Corporate Responsibility Award’ at the recent Newry Business Awards.

Parker Green International is an established private property development and investment company, with Irish Head Offices in Newry and satellite offices in Central & Eastern Europe, which was founded in 1996 by Dr Gerard O’ Hare CBE, one of Northern Ireland’s most successful business entrepreneurs.

In 2009, Dr. O’Hare CBE was proudly named as The Prince’s Ambassador for Corporate Social Responsibility in Northern Ireland, in recognition of his leadership and commitment to responsible business. Parker Green specialises in mixed-use developments (retail, leisure and office combined) and is regarded as a champion of sustainable development in its field and has developed a number of premiere shopping centres, which have been regarded as fine examples of urban regeneration throughout the UK and Ireland.

Parker Green International received the CSR award in recognition of their strong and structured approach to both employees wellbeing and that of the community, the environment and wider society. Earlier this year they also scooped two CSR awards in the categories of ‘Right Place to work ‘ & ‘Work, life & Wellbeing’ at the Irish News Workplace Awards.
