With the lifting of the ban on flying our three airports and the airlines are working to get schedules back on track
George Best Belfast City Airport
NATS has received new directions from the UK’s safety regulator, the CAA, on applying restrictions to UK airspace following the volcanic eruption in Iceland.
The majority of airlines to and from Belfast City Airport will resume their full schedules today, Thursday 22nd April.
Schedules are subject to change and passengers are therefore still strongly advised to check with the airline before travelling to the airport.

easyjet intend to operate services to and from London Luton as normal today, Thursday 22 April.

Ryanair have cancelled all operations today, Thursday 22 April.
Ryanair intend to resume their schedule with a morning flight on Friday 23 April, operating the 0630 flight to London Stansted.
We would advise passengers to check the Ryanair website for continual updates before departing for the airport.

Belfast International Airport
Following the phased re-introduction of services yesterday, the vast majority of flights, including air cargo, will operate today to and from Belfast International Airport, with the exception of a very small number of cancellations.
While activity is returning to normal, our best advice still remains for intending passengers to refer directly to airline websites for the most up-to-date information in relation to their flight, paying particular attention to temporary check-in procedures and aiming to arrive promptly once a decision has been taken to travel to the airport.

City of Derry Airport
All scheduled services to and from City of Derry Airport are expected to operate normally today with the exception of the Ryanair service to London Stansted this evening.
Ryanair has advised that today’s continental flights to Faro and Alicante will operate normally and all flights between Ireland and UK will resume tomorrow (Friday)
All Aer Arann scheduled services are operating normally.
Passengers are reminded that the situation remains subject to change at short notice and that delays are possible as the backlogs are cleared therefore they should check regularly on their airlines’ websites for the most accurate information.
Airlines are advising passengers not to go to the airport if their flights have been cancelled.
Finally, passengers are advised that due to the ongoing roadworks on the new A2 dual carriageway, a temporary road layout is now in operation at the entrance to the airport. Please take extra care and follow the directional signage.
